GUIDELINES AND PROCESS FOR THE TEST – FREE ADMISSION OF NEW STUDENTS AND TRANSFEREES FOR A.Y 2022 – 2023

I. TIMELINE OF ACTIVITIES

February 24 – April 30, 2022 Online Application for College Admission, Submission of Admission Requirements
May 02 – 31, 2022 Assessment per College (1st Choice Course)
June 06 – 30, 2022 Assessment per College (2nd and 3rd Choice Courses)

II. ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

  • Grade 12 Graduating Senior High School students from public and private secondary schools duly recognized by the government.
  • Senior High School graduates who have not taken any college degree.
  • Transferee students from any public and private Higher Education Institutions (HEI’s).

III. APPLICATION FOR COLLEGE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12 Graduating Senior High School Student

  • Accomplished Online Application Form for College Admission
  • Original Certification of General Weighted Average from Grades 9 – 11
  • Photocopy of S.F. 9/Form 138/High School Report Card (Grade 12 First Semester only)
  • 2×2 I.D. Picture (white background with nametag)

Senior High School Graduate

  • Accomplished Online Application Form for College Admission
  • Original Certification of General Weighted Average from Grades 9 – 12
  • Photocopy of S.F. 9/Form 138/High School Report Card (Grade 12 1st and 2nd Sem.)
  • 2×2 I.D. Picture (white background with nametag)

Transferee

  • Accomplished Online Application Form for College Admission
  • Authenticated photocopy of Official Transcript of Records (TOR) or Certification of Grades from the school last attended
  • 2×2 I.D. Picture (white background with nametag)

Note: These requirements are for admission purposes only, and not for enrolment.

IV. GENERAL GUIDELINES

  1. The DEBESMSCAT College Entrance Test (DECET) is still suspended for this A.Y. 2022 – 2023.
  2. The admission for college eligibility will be based on the applicants’ General Weighted Average (GWA) from Grades 9 – 12 and the assessment to be done in the respective college they chose to enroll. Applicants who did not meet the grade requirement and did not pass in the evaluation set by the college of the priority course will choose from the second or third courses.
  3. The grade requirement (GWA) for the College of Education is 85% and above. For the College of Engineering, the applicant must have a grade of 85% and above in Mathematics and Science subjects regardless of the GWA garnered.
  4. The mode of assessment per college is online and limited face-to-face interviews, phone calls, and qualifying examinations in their respective college.
  5. The application for college admission form is accessible online. (No walk-in transaction for admission application).
  6. The applicant who is a Grade 12 Graduating Senior High School Student and Senior High School graduate who has not taken any college degree shall use Form 1A Application Form for Admission and shall submit a Form 2A or Form 2B – Certification of General Weighted Average, duly signed by the Principal/School Head/Authorized Person and impressed with the dry deal of the school.
  7. The transferee applicant shall use Form 1B Application Form for Admission and will not submit Form 2A or Form 2B – Certification of General Weighted Average.
  8. The applicants who will apply for online admission should provide accurate data. The email address asked for in the Application Form for Admission is the APPLICANTS’ PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS.
  9. After the online application for admission, the applicant can immediately proceed to submission of admission requirements.
  10. The application for online admission will start on February 24, 2022, until April 30, 2022. The office will not accommodate late online applications and incomplete and late submission of admission requirements.
  11. Place and sealed the admission requirements in a long-sized plastic envelop and brown envelop, indicating the name of the applicant, the name of the school, and the home address at the upper part of the brown envelop. The submission is through the following method: walk-in/personal; hand-carry by a friend/acquaintance or any other significant person and drop in the guardhouse; or any courier such as JRS, LBC, JnT, or NinjaVan.
  12. Failure to submit the admission requirements on the scheduled dates forfeits the online application for admission.

V. ONLINE APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION PROCESS

  1. Click the Enroll Now button below.
  2. Choose one in the applicant category option.
  3. Fill out the application form for admission with correct and complete data.
  4. Click the SUBMIT ADMISSION button.
  5. Download the Form 2A or Form 2B – Certification of General Weighted Average (For Grade 12 Graduating Senior High School and Senior High School Graduate Applicant only)
  6. Take note of your reference number before clicking SAVE TO DATABASE.
  7. Ask the authorized person to furnish the Certification of General Weighted Average and have it signed by the Principal/School Head/Authorized Person and impressed with the dry deal of the school.
  8. End of Process.
